• Budget Preparation and Management prepares annual budgets based on departmental inputs and revenue projections, and monitors implementation against variances
• Revenue Collection and Management oversees collection of local taxes, fees, licenses and other revenues, ensuring proper recording and timely remittance
• Expenditure Control reviews and processes payments in line with approved budgets and financial regulations, ensuring value for money
• Accounting and Financial Reporting maintains accurate financial records and prepares periodic financial statements and reports for stakeholders
• Auditing and Compliance facilitates internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial laws, policies and standards
• Payroll Management processes salaries, pensions and other benefits for LCDA employees, ensuring compliance with tax and social contribution requirements
• Financial Advice and Policy Development provides financial guidance to other departments and decision-makers, and contributes to financial policy
