About the Audit Unit

The Audit Unit is the internal watchdog of Ikorodu North LCDA. It independently reviews the Council’s financial and administrative operations to ensure they are lawful, efficient, and transparent.

What We Do

• Examining payment vouchers, receipts, and accounting records
• Ensuring that all financial transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations

2. Systems and Compliance Audits

• Reviewing internal processes and controls across departments
• Checking adherence to policies, circulars, and established procedures

3. Risk Identification and Recommendations

• Identifying weaknesses, leakages, or high‑risk areas in operations
• Making practical recommendations to strengthen controls and improve performance
