Ikorodu North LCDA lies in the north‑eastern part of Ikorodu Division and shares boundaries with
Ikorodu Central, Ikorodu West LCDA, Imota LCDA, and Sagamu (Ogun State). Its administrative
headquarters is located in Isiu Town, a strategic gateway between Lagos and Ogun States.
The LCDA comprises five wards: Isiu (Headquarters), Odogunyan, Olorunda, Erikorodo, and Agbala.
It includes over 300 Community Development Areas (CDAs) and 10 Joint Community Development Areas (JCDAs),
reflecting a diverse mix of communities, traditions, and local economies.
Prominent leaders who have served as Chairmen of the LCDA include:

The LCDA operates within the Lagos State administrative structure, with the Executive Chairman
as chief executive and councillors representing each ward. Each administration has contributed
to socio‑economic and infrastructural development through projects in roads, health, education,
and youth empowerment. The administrative arm is led by the Council Manager and departments
such as Administration, HR, Works & Infrastructure, Budget & Planning, Agriculture, Environment,
Health, and Education.
Security & Public Institutions
Ikorodu North LCDA hosts key security formations, including the Nigeria Army (174 Battalion),
Nigeria Police Force CP Tactical Team, NSCDC, NDLEA, JTF, LASTMA, FRSC, VIO, and Nigeria Legion.
The LCDA is home to Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH),
as well as numerous secondary and primary schools.
The Odogunyan Industrial Estate is a major economic hub hosting large‑scale industries such as
African Steel Mills, Lucky Fibre, and PZ Plc, alongside many medium and small‑scale enterprises.
Agriculture remains vibrant in rural communities like Isiu, Adamo, Erikorodo, Agbala, and Agbede,
supported by farm settlements such as Erikorodo and Odogunyan.
Ikorodu North LCDA is rich in Yoruba culture and traditions, with annual community events such as
Eweye Day (Isiu) that promote unity and cultural pride. Traditional institutions, led by the Oba
of Isiu, HRM Oba David Kayode Raji (Olupejobi II), alongside Baales and community leaders, play
vital roles in maintaining peace, order, and heritage.
