The Department of Budgets, Planning & Statistics serves as the engine room for strategic planning, fiscal policy formulation, and
performance monitoring within Ikorodu North LCDA.
Its core function is to coordinate the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the council’s annual budget, ensuring that all
projects and programs align with the development priorities of the local government and the broader Lagos State development agenda.
Through effective data collection and analysis, the Department provides reliable information that guides decision‑making, optimises
resource allocation, and promotes accountability in governance.

1. Budget Preparation and Management
- Coordinating the formulation of the council’s annual budget
- Ensuring inclusive participation from departments, wards, and community stakeholders
2. Development Planning
- Formulating short‑, medium‑, and long‑term development plans
- Guiding socioeconomic programs and policies across the LCDA
3. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
- Tracking the implementation of capital projects and recurrent expenditures

4. Statistical Data Collection and Analysis
