About the ICT Unit
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit is driving digital transformation within Ikorodu North LCDA. It ensures
that the Council uses modern technology to improve efficiency, transparency, and communication with the public.
What We Do
1. ICT Infrastructure and Support
- Managing computers, networks, internet connectivity, and related ICT equipment
- Providing technical support to staff for ICT‑related issues
2. E‑Governance and Digital Services
- Supporting development and maintenance of digital platforms, websites, and databases
- Enabling more efficient internal processes and, where possible, easier access to information for the public
3. Data Management and Security
- Assisting departments to manage and protect data and electronic records
- Promoting responsible use of ICT and data security practices
4. Capacity Building
- Helping to build staff ICT skills through basic user trainings and support
- Promoting a culture of innovation and digital literacy within the Council
