About the Procurement Unit

The Procurement Unit ensures that Ikorodu North LCDA purchases goods, works, and services in a manner that is transparent, competitive, and value‑for‑money. It is a critical safeguard against waste and abuse in public spending.

What We Do

1. Procurement Planning

  • Working with departments to prepare annual procurement plans aligned with the approved budget
  • Ensuring that planned procurements are realistic and properly prioritised

2. Transparent Tendering Processes

  • Advertising and managing tender and bidding processes in line with public procurement laws
  • Ensuring open competition and fair opportunity for qualified bidders

3. Evaluation and Contract Award Support

  • Coordinating bid evaluation processes based on clear criteria
  • Making objective recommendations that prioritise quality, cost, and reliability

4. Contract Management Support

  • Assisting in contract documentation and record‑keeping
  • Working with departments to monitor contract performance and compliance
